Special Effects

Saani works to transform actors by using prosthetics and makeup. She utilize a variety of makeup techniques to create wounds, abrasions, or scars on the actor — sometimes transforming the actors into monsters, aliens, and a variety of other characters.
SPECIAL EFFECTS MAKEUP

Areas of expertise included:

  • Skin diseases.
  • Burns.
  • Casualty techniques.
  • Eye swelling & bruising.
  • Cuts and scars.
  • Impalements & puncture wounds.
  • Using latex, Artex, Sculpt Gel, Wax & Grease paint.
  • Bald cap application.

A sensitivity patch test will be required at least 48 hours before application for Special Effects (SFX) Makeup that involves the use of latex.
